Our Story
We couldn't find a straight answer on what our animals were worth. So we built one.
Where It Started
Russell runs exotics in the Texas Hill Country. Wildfolio came from running a real operation in a market with no good data.
Like most ranchers, he tracked everything in spreadsheets — purchase prices, sales, comps — always juggling timing, pricing, and the live-sale vs. hunt tradeoff. The effort was there. The visibility wasn't.
Markets moved faster than the tools. By the time you had context, the decision was already made.
Wildfolio started as a way to fix that — track every transaction we could find, price every animal against real sales, and stop making decisions on gut feel.

What we believe
These aren't marketing lines. They're the rules we build by.
Values change when the market changes
Your animals aren't worth the same thing they were three weeks ago. Pricing should keep up.
Watch the shifts, not the averages
Averages hide what's actually happening. We surface the changes that matter — when they happen.
Consistent beats clever
In a market this fragmented, a consistent model beats a good guess every time.
Every animal is a position
A male Axis and a female Axis are two different markets. Treating them the same hides risk.
Our Mission
To give ranchers real clarity on what their animals are worth and where the market is headed — without needing a finance degree or a room full of consultants.
